The advent of generative AI has proven tobe a turning point for higher education. Whether we want it or not thistechnology is swiftly becoming ubiquitous, and our students are using it. This is the first of two seminars on AI in higher education. This seminar will explore effectiveand ethical ways that both teachers and students cause GenAI to positively impact student learning. The second seminar will be offered next month and will concentrate on managing the direct use and indirect effects of AI on assignments.
