November 30, 2021 was Carnegie Mellon University's most successful Giving CMU Day. The university raised nearly 2 million dollars to support its students. CMU-Africa celebrated over $14,000 raised in 24 hours and over 150 donors.
The money donated to CMU-Africa will help support the Innovators Forward Fellowship Fund (IFFF). The IFFF supports graduate students with exceptional academic records and leadership potential through tuition, allowing them to access an education that meets the highest world standards. The students who receive funding from the Innovators Forward Fellowship Fund excel in their studies, impact their communities, and go on to success in further studies or careers.
