Developing Interactive Modules for Digital Safety

This research seeks to develop and assess a gamified, interactive cybersecurity education curriculum for neurodiverse children in East Africa, focusing initially on Kenyan schools. This curriculum will deliver essential cybersecurity knowledge—such as password security, recognizing phishing, and safe digital practices—through culturally adapted storytelling, visuals, and gameplay that resonate with children’s daily experiences. Emphasizing inclusivity, the project will create content specifically tailored to the learning needs of neurodiverse children, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
